Mango Float with a Twist

I remember those days that I and Kuya Glenn used to prepare mango float during Sundays. I was still a kid way back then was assigned to crash the grahams because there are still no crashed graham for sale that time and no automatic mixer to beat the all purpose cream and condense milk

Since my mother bought some mango so I guess it is time to make one. Just the basic ingredients, 2 Nestle All purpose Cream, 1 big can of condensed milk, 2 pieces of mango, 1 pack of crash into grahams and the twist is 1 pack of egg cracklets because I always make use of graham and that time it wasn’t enough to cover up the layers so my sister thought of cracklets in her food storage. I beat the two nestle creams and the condensed milk and while it is still beating I crushed the egg cracklets so it will be finer.
After I meltted some butter and mixed it with crush egg cracklets, my cousin told me that so when it will become cold the crashed biscuit will stay intact. But I was quite short of the mixed butter and the cracklets because it wasn’t intact. So when mixed all purpose cream and condense is floppy, it is ready to be placed in a rectangular plastic ware.

This is just one of the things that I do when there is nothing to think of, in short when I am bored LOL.

Pizza Cravings at Barrio Bistro

Pizza is one of my favorite foods to eat. I believe everyone knows what a pizza is but for those who do not, Pizza is a baked pie, an Italian origin consisting of bread like crust with toppings in it.

Last March 17, 2011 I and one of my best buddies Miah and Sharon have pizza cravings so we decided to go to Barrio Bistro and have Pizza Overload cost 330PHP that is compose of Mozzarella Cheese of course Tomato Sauce, Italian Sausage, Ham and Onions and the other one is Three Cheese cost 250ph, consist of Mozzarella Cheese, Tomato Sauce and Minced Garlic. Both are 12 inches high and it has 8 slices. Well when you look at those two pizzas, it’s not really that enticing but when you have tried it really is delicious, it can compete with the other pizza house in town. The Three Cheese, I am not quite sure why they called it Three Cheese for there is only one cheese mentioned in their menu maybe it is suppose to be secret I guess but though it tastes good it has same taste of the Spinach Pizza of Coffee shop. The place really is pleasant, like the ambiance, comfort room is neat, people are nice and very accommodating

They really have different types of pizza available and it is a buy 1 take 1 pizza in which you are going to pay the highest value. For those who want to try their Pizza, Barrio Bistro is located at 47 Lacson St., Bo Obrero Brgy 20-B, Davao City. By the way the schedule of their buy 1 take 1 is from 2:00pm-5:00pm and 8:00pm-11:00pm. And they also serve breakfast from 7:00am-12:00noon.

In scale of 1-10, 10 as the highest I give 7.

Al's Diner

Al’s Diner gives you one of the best burgers in town that would make you crave for more. They also have this bigger size burgers that would definitely make you full, and take note all of there patty is made out of lean meat so for those who are afraid of fatty foods nothing to worry about. They have also this Italian spaghetti and other food that you can find in fast food chains. There is also magical in this place, the straw that when you sip it, you will find a different taste like strawberry, chocolate and etc. And the main reason why they have this Al’s Diner place it’s because they wanted to help children in public schools who doesn’t know how to use a computer very noble indeed. So when you eat in Al’s Diner you will not only be full but also help those Children. Go visit them at C Bangoy Street beside NCCC Express. Enjoy your meal as I have enjoyed mine.
